Abraham Lincoln (February 12, 1809 – April 15, 1865) was the 16th President of the United States, serving from March 1861 until his assassination in April 1865. He is remembered most for having successfully led his country through one of the greatest crises in American history—the American Civil War. His efforts led to the preservation of the Union, the abolition of slavery, and promotion of economic and financial modernization of America.
America deserves to know its true heritage.
