All of Marxist history is marked by bloodshed and tyranny. Despite its claims to provide a roadmap to utopia, Marxism has only succeeded in producing untold human suffering and sorrow. In its bid for freedom from King George III, America threw off the yoke of tyranny and found political liberty in the principles of their Christian heritage. But with the rise of Marxism, the enslavement of the American people began once again. While a complete recounting of the influence of Marxism upon America is well beyond the scope of this article, knowledge of a few highlights of its rise and progress is critical to the American patriot.

Karl Marx and Violent Revolution
While the name " Marx" is well known in early twentieth-first-century America, what is not well known is his life and character. Karl Heinrich Marx (May 5, 1818 – March 14, 1883) was born in Trier, Prussia (now Germany) to Jewish parents, but turning from Judaism and following the example of his father, Karl was baptized into the Lutheran tradition in 1824. The baptism of the Marx family was a matter of cultural convenience given the fact that Karl's father was an alleged deist. As a result, Karl became steeped in secular and philosophical literature of ancient and modern European classics and studied law and philosophy at the universities of Bonn and Berlin. In 1843, Marx married theatre critic and political activist Jenny von Westphalen, but banished from his homeland because of his political views, Marx lived in exile with his wife and children in London for decades. Together with his friend and financial patron, Friedrich Engels, Marx is remembered for his strident advocacy of communism.[1] His best-known works on this subject include The Communist Manifesto (1848)[2] and his four-volume Das Kapital (Capital, 1867-1883)—though only the first of the latter set was published prior to his death.
While studying at the University of Berlin, Marx came under the influence of well-known philosopher Georg Hegel who had conceived the " Hegelian Dialectic." Hegel believed that progress or development usually entailed a proposition (thesis) which encountered an opposing force or reaction (anti-thesis). What often resulted from the two opposing forces of the proposition and reaction was a mediation of the two forces known as the resolution (synthesis). Marx used Hegel's dialectic to develop his belief of the origin of the universe, a thinking which in turn laid the foundation for violent revolutions (reactions/anti-theses) against capitalistic nations (propositions/theses).
Marx employed Hegel's dialectic to explain away a divine origin of the universe in favor of his naturalistic origin known as a " materialistic dialectic". Such godless political thought was used to polarize nations, pitting one group of a particular view (proposition/thesis) against another group holding an opposite view (reaction/anti-thesis). Division concerning race, economic condition, sex, or any of a number of other issues have been used by communists to create crisis to violently overthrow democratically elected governments around the world.
Creating crisis and violence has been a trademark of the Marx's communist disciples. If readers of his Communist Manifesto fail to observe his call to violent revolution throughout this pamphlet, they cannot fail to perceive his final challenge:
In short, the Communists everywhere support every revolutionary movement against the existing social and political order of things.…
The Communists…openly declare that their ends can be attained only by the forcible overthrow of all existing social conditions. Let the ruling classes tremble at a Communistic revolution.[3]
A remarkable amount of social upheaval and violence in America since the end of the nineteenth century is attributable to spread and advocacy of godless Marxism.
The ideas of Marx and Engels were devoured by totalitarian minds around the world—chief among these ideas is the advancement of communism by crisis and ruthless violence. The demands of communism being rejected by the masses, Marxists have introduced their agenda by promoting the " just cause" of socialism. Marx believed that soft socialism was the predecessor to hardcore communism.[4] Russian communist dictator, Joseph Stalin, understood this deceptive ploy and insisted that the " victory of socialism" was part of the " transition from capitalism to communism."[5] Pushing socialism by advocating public government programs for the "well-being" of citizens is but the threshold to totalitarian control of communism. While communists have not been hesitant to force their ideology on nations around the world, socialism is the stick and carrot method being employed against America.
Eugene Victor " Gene" Debs (November 5, 1855 – October 20, 1926) was a leading figure of the rise of socialism in America and hero of the contemporary socialist senator from Vermont, Bernie Sanders.[6] Early in his career, Debs was a member of the Democratic Party and was elected to the Indiana General Assembly in 1884. Active in the promotion of trade unions which communists infiltrated, Debs led a ten-month strike against the CB and Q Railroad in 1888. And in 1894, Debs helped to foment the Pullman Strike riots and subsequently spent six months in jail for his role in the costly violence. During his imprisonment, Debs was visited by Milwaukee socialist newspaper editor Victor Berger who gifted Debs with a copy of Marx's Das Kapital, which Debs read " slowly, eagerly, ravenously."[7] Emerging from jail, Debs spent the last three decades of this life as an evangelist of socialism, but Debs was only one of many who betrayed American principles of freedom for Marx's communistic enslavement.
Marxist groups such as the American Civil Liberties Union—under the leadership of Roger Baldwin—and the Frankfurt School of Jewish atheists who fled Hitler's Germany in the 1930s and settled at Columbia University were all committed to the overthrow of America. In fact, Marxists became embedded in the highest levels of American government and is the reason that Russia (through the lend-lease program) recovered so quickly from WWII, that China and North Korea fell to the communists, and that America lost the Vietnam War. One of the best books to recount America's tragic flirtation with Marxism in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries is W. Cleon Skousen's, The Naked Communist.
Marxism and the Democratic Party
Marxism found a friend in the American Democratic Party in the middle of the twentieth century. In 1940, the Communist Party in America had withdrawn from the Third International (or Communist International), and " Later the Communist Party in America was dissolved in an attempt to attach the Communist membership to one of the major U.S. political parties" —the Democratic Party.[8] Negotiations between the administration of President Franklin Delano Roosevelt and Joseph Stalin also provided American communists with the confidence that afforded an opportunity to work within the American political system. And the Yalta Conference of February 4-11, 1945—convened by the heads of state from the United States, Great Britain, and the Soviet Union—further ensured communists the opportunity to participate within the Democratic Party.
Attempts have been made to charge America with having provided Hitler with ideas employed to execute his atrocities, but, these ideas originated with the Democratic Party in America, [9] and here Marxism continues to find a platform to advocate its principles and practices. Two of the most brazen Democrats who have had direct ties to Marxists such as Saul Alinsky have been Hillary Clinton[10] and Barack Obama.[11] And among the largest contributors to the campaigns of Democratic candidates to public office who are in harmony with the agenda of the communist American Civil Liberty Union has been billionaire George Soros and his Open Society Foundation.[12]
President Ronald Reagan delivered one of his most memorable speeches when he stood in front of the Berlin Wall on June 12, 1987 and threw down a challenge to the General Secretary of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union, Mikhail Gorbachev, saying, " Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall". In 1989, the Berlin Wall was indeed dismantled and the German people reunited—a sign also of the collapsing influence of communism around the world. In 1991, the flagship communist state of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (USSR) also began to splinter. More than ever the Marxist claims of a better, more equitable world under communism were exposed for what they were—tyrannical and fraudulent.
Strangely enough, Marxism, despite its apparent disillusionment in the late 1980s and early 1990s, has clung to life; and in China as well as Russia, hardline leaders have, in recent decades, percolated to power. Tragically, Marxism has also been eagerly welcomed into a large swath of early-twenty-first century American culture. While it is not possible to fully describe the extent of current Marxist influence upon America in this article, the energy and financial crises are of pressing concern.
The very day that Joe Biden assumed the office of President of the United States, January 20, 2021, he unilaterally halted the construction of the Keystone XL Pipeline, the completion of which would have afforded America a greater degree of energy independence.[13] Making good on his promise to his " progressive" base, Biden presided over soaring gas and energy prices. Ten months after assuming office, Biden issued a press release announcing that he was releasing strategically held petroleum reserves to lower the cost of energy for the American consumer.[14] Early in 2022, warnings were sounded by macroeconomists that diesel fuel would soon be in short supply, and at the end of 2022 that prediction was realized.
For decades, environmentalists have demanded that nations around the world move away from fossil fuels to renewable green energy sources. But the simple fact is that renewable energy sources are incapable of supplying the demands for energy anywhere in the world. The U. S. Energy Information Administration’s best estimate suggest that by 2050, renewable energy will only account for forty-two percent of America's energy needs.[15]
Green energy cannot presently sustain the energy needs of any nation and likely never will. The only nation to do a feasibility study on the possibility of supplying a nation's energy needs has been New Zealand, and the result of that study showed that green energy could only provide a small portion of that nation's total energy needs—and the reduction of carbon emissions was considered negligible.
In short, the world cannot be sustained by green energy. Forcing citizens into green energy will not only crash households but also crash nations; and it is similar crises that Marxists use to gain control of nations.
America's Founding Fathers believed that government existed to protect God-given rights and provide an environment in which those rights might flourish. In the Declaration of Independence, they wrote,
We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among men…[16]
Unlike the Founding Fathers, Marxists believe that the citizens of a nation exist for the welfare of the state or government. America's Founding Fathers believed citizens possessed a God-given right to own private property, but at the heart of Marxist communism is the takeover of private property. Marx and Engels made this fact abundantly clear when they wrote in the Manifesto, "…the theory of the Communists may be summed up in the single sentence: abolition of private property."[17]
The World Economic Forum (WEF) is an international non-governmental organization based in Cologny, Switzerland. Founded on January 24, 1971, by German engineer and economist, Klaus Schwab, the 1, 000 company forum convenes annually in January in a mountain resort in Davos, Switzerland. Klaus and the members of the World Economic Forum believe a globalized world is best managed by a self-appointed elite coalition of multinational civil society organizations, corporations, and representative government officials. Influenced by Marxist ideology, this cadre of usurpers seeks to impose its will upon the world through initiatives such as the " Great Reset"[18] and the " Global Redesign" .[19]
Marxism wishes to destroy the middle class of any society, for it is the middle class that possesses the economic ability to resist political tyrants, and Marxist tyrants have always used the bait of socialism to trap nations in the steel jaws of communism.
An article posted on the website of the World Economic Forum in 2016 exposes the Marxist intent of the organization which prophesied concerning the economic conditions of the world by 2030.[20] Even more ominous was their post stating, " You’ll own nothing. And you’ll be happy." It is easy to anticipate why the latter post did not remain long on the WEF website.[21] The World Economic Forum is but one of many attempts to advance Marxists communism around the globe.
Several subjects related to finance and the economy could be further explored if time and space allotted, but before proceeding to the final topic on this subject, only a passing notice will be given to the national debt. As of this writing, America's national debt is well on its way to thirty-two-trillion dollars. While the Democrats have led the way in plunging America into this cavernous abyss, many Republicans also share in this national crime. America is well on its way to being incapable of servicing the interest created by the debt. The crisis this will create in the near future for America is the type of opportunity Marxists eagerly desire and help to create.[22]
On March 9, 2022, Joe Biden signed " Executive Order 14067—Ensuring Responsible Development of Digital Assets."[23] In it, the Biden administration laid out a plan for the implementation of a digital currency. Section 4 of the executive order established the procedures for developing and implementing an electronic central bank digital currency (CBDC) to displace the US dollar. As noted in the Biden order, nations around the world are exploring and implementing similar plans for CBDCs. In fact, China leads the world in this endeavor and has aggressively lobbied other nations to adopt their protocols and procedures. This would allow China to exercise control of global CBDCs or at least have a major controlling influence.
What is most troubling about the implementation of a central bank digital currency is the fact that the government will possess the power to regulate the financial decisions of every American. Applying " social scoring, " a Marxist government will be able to control how much gasoline is purchased, whether citizens will be able to purchase ammunition or firearms, or any of a host of other financial decisions. CBDC is spyware that will allow the American government to control every area of life.
The dollar is dying. Though the dollar has remained strong against foreign currencies, its purchasing power is waning, and like all fiat currencies throughout human history, it will ultimately die. And the place of the US dollar as the world's reserve currency is quickly being challenged by BRICS (initial group of Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa) nations. It is only a matter of time before the dollar is displaced.
On November 15, 2022, Reuters columnist Lananh Nguyen announced the rollout of the pilot program for the CBDC.[24] This ominous sign is a confession by the federal government that the dollar is failing. Americans can expect the government to extend its surveillance over their finances sometime in 2023 or 2024 at the latest.
Marxists—like atheistic Darwinists—believe Christian moral principles of what is right and wrong must be done away with. As stated by American Marxists in 1936, " One of the most important tasks of the cultural revolution affecting the wide masses is the task of systematically and unswervingly combating religion—the opium of the people."[25] In the place of Christian morality, the disciples of Marx allege they alone possess the right to establish all forms of morality. When humans believe they are the final arbiters of what is right and wrong, tyranny is the inevitable consequence. This fact has in part been reported by the authors of The Black Book of Communism: Crimes, Terror, Repression.[26] Unlike " Christians" who may disregard the moral expectations of Jesus Christ and the Bible, Communists who visit terror and suffering upon the world are living by the principles of Karl Marx and his Communist Manifesto! And the same may be said of the Darwinists who live by Darwin's philosophy of might is right—" tooth and talon". As the history of Darwinism[27] and Marxism[28] demonstrate, godless governments inevitably lead to tyranny and murder of the masses.[29] " God does not exist, " so atheistic tyrants have presumed to take His place. Writing concerning the effects of Darwinism and Marxist totalitarianism, historian Paul Johnson notes,
In the twentieth century, it is likely that over 100 million people were killed or starved to death as a result of totalitarian regimes infected with varieties of social Darwinism. . . . At the time Origin [of Species]was published, there were about 1, 325 million human beings in the world. By the time [Marxist]Mao Tse-tung, last of the great " exterminators, " died—having himself presided over the deaths of 70 million—the human total had risen to 3, 900 million.[30]
The truth is, Origin is a book that . . . had a devastating intellectual and emotional impact upon world society.[31]
The nineteenth-century Russian novelist, Fyodor Dostoyevsky, once wrote, " Without God . . . everything is permitted"[32] —and the followers of Marx and Darwin have proven it so.
America deserves to know its true heritage.
